anybody have any predictions for 5a next year.what teams are returning the most points. and what seniors to watch for.

I predict that Emporia finishes at the bottom of the pack.

OTTAWA will do pretty good. For the past two years we havent been anything special. But this year we won two tournaments and placed top 5 in the rest. We sent 7 to state this year with the HWT taking second and the 130 lb. taking fifth. Next year look for an experienced squad and alot of azz kickin' to be coming on strong.

What tournaments do you go to?

STA & Bishop Carroll both have alot of qualifiers and points returning and Valley Center always seems to have a good team!

Paola will be good. They lost a couple of good guys but they have a real good class comin up.

I predict Emporia goes back up to 6a.

Would be hard to bet against any of those three.

Have anyone created a list of returning state points ... as was done last year

emporia returns 50 points next year.

Returning 50 points would make it awful hard for Emporia to finish at the bottom of the pack in 5A or 6A.

any freshman coming in at any of these schools that could make a big impact? i'm sure there will be a few....STA probably could move back up to 6A, i dont know what they're enrollment will do. STA, Carroll, Valley Center and Turner will all have solid teams i'm sure.

mark kolmer from emporia , he will team up with sparks,rodriguez,tovar and rose.

STA's senior class for next year will include 2006 state placers: Millstead, Maime, Hammer, Nill and 1 Markey brother. Add in other quality seniors for next year including the other Markey brother, Scott, Lopez and Noles.

If we can stay healthy and fit everybody into the lineup along with some good underclassmen, I think we'll do okay

Thats the best Senior class in the state of kansas, by far, at least in my opinion.

what happened to noles this year? i dont believe i saw his name in the state bracket....maybe i missed it
