I was just getting ready to post this page! Wade Schalles was a speaker at the State Leader Conference and had a few interesting ideas!

I will expound later!

Are you making a POSITIVE difference in the life of kids?

Let's not forget Abraham Lincoln, and Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert.

Denny Hastert was apparently a pretty good wrestling coach.

Hopefully he'll run for president one day, if only so that we might have a "President Denny."

What nation wouldn't fear us?

Also--I'm a little shocked that Med Riller wasn't on the "famous people who wrestled" list. Weird.

While I may have been an undefeated junior high school/intramural wrestler my status as a famous person is only in my own mind! I do not believe that this qualifies myself in the same company as the rest of the list… unless you compare me to Geraldo. If he can make the list then anybody should be able to achieve the distinction as famous!

Thanks Prant,
Med Riller

Have to throw this one in:

A high school teammate of mine, Michael Anderson, was one of the founders of Ameritrade, the online stock trading company.

There are many presidents who wrestled. If I am not mistaken Washington Taft and I think maybe Teddy Roosevelt all wrestled

Here's a couple:

Tab Thacker, All-American at North Carolina State, who played the fat kid on the Goldie Hawn movie.

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeldt. He was supposed to speak at the kick-off rally for the 2003 NCAAs at Kemper Arena, but it was the night the Iraq War began — he was a tad busy.

Also, former Kansas City Chief great Curley Culp was an NCAA champ at Arizona State.

Oh yeah...

And, of course, there were Kurt Angle and Brock Lesner who were famous for being embarrassments.

I was just going to say Adam Vinatieri, so instead I'll add Tim McGraw to the list.

No one in the WWE counts as a wrestler or as famous.
