All wrestlers must have eligibilty left to participate in this event. Matches are subject to change without notice. Team scoring will be done as according to NCAA rules with 3-2-2 periods and riding time clock in use.

Is this a new thing this year? Who picked the matchups? When is this? Where is this? Are all the guys agreed on this so far?
Alex

This is something I have been working on behind the scenes trying to lay out potential matchups. I would like to get this to become a reality to help kick off the wrestling season. I might have a few other matchups that I would need for exhibitions where it would be guys from small divisions against each other or something.
I would like to do this for the upcomming season and have all proceeds go to the Tyler Graebner Foundation. I think plenty of people would show up for a great event like this.

Maybe do it about 2 weeks after on mat practices begin. Murray and Luedke? 2 very different weights. I might have to find Zach Luedke a match, I still can't believe he hasn't been signed.

Ok...I need everyone associated with a college wrestling program to contact their coaches and show them the idea and see if they are up for it...then if you have teammates that want to compete we might be able to do a Showcase...maybe in future years really get something like this off the ground.

I think it would be a little over done to have Grater and Cornejo wrestle again in this event....

Is that like saying that watching Gardner and Karelin go at it again would be over done? Sure we've seen the match a couple times now, but it's been very close in those matches and I believe the score stands at a 1-1? So why not have a "rubber" match? Alex

Swayz,
The window of opportunity is small between now and the season start. If you don't get this scheduled prior to 11/1, you'll probably have to wait until after NCAAs.
