Washburn University is forming a Wrestling Club. If you are a Washburn Student and interested in Joining please e-mail me at kevin.cathcart@washburn.edu
We have about a dozen members so far. I believe several of the members are wrestling in the Old-timers tournament in Topeka at Seaman High School on April 1st.

Yes, But I also coach at Seaman High School so I do not know how involved I can be. Dr. Vest has agreed to be our campus Advisor.

What is the Athletic Departments stance on wrestling at Washburn? Dr. Don Vest is a great asset there for the wrestling community.

Go to the NCWA site, pull up rules. section 2 article 1 & 2. Basically you have 4 years to compete and you have to take a minimum 6 credits. http://www.ncwa.net
