I was not witht he team due to being behind someone else that is on varsity and also not having the money to travel on my own right now. I know how the colby team did, but I was looking for the overall results.

Still waiting for results and details, pulled this off of the Newman Site. http://www.newmanu.edu/athletics/wrestling/ 125. ISAAC WALL 2ND PLACE 125. MICHAEL COPELAND 3RD PLACE 155. BRAD LIES 1ST PLACE 165. CURTIS CHENOWETH 2ND 180. TYLER DAVIS 4TH PLACE 205. RYAN SPONSEL 4TH PLACE I saw Isaac last night and he told me he would be at the varsity spot this week. Didn't think to talk to him about if he and Copeland went head to head. It is fun to have a Wichita team to follow.

Nice observation...I didn't even see Bowman's name until you mentioned it...I was skimming through only...guess I'll go back and look more closely.

And considering Bowman's not wrestling daily, much less in a college room daily, I'd say thats a heck of an accomplishment.

I am not trying to take anything away from Marcus, but there is a major difference between a takedown tournament match and regular match. 3 minutes isn't the same as the 7 minutes in a regular match and you're not on the mat. Still one point away from a returning All-American not too bad.
