Was the match close before Ford was pinned or did Carlson dominate the match the whole time?

grandad

i would have to disagree 115 looks tough but every weight class is tough down at state
look at 105 for example 2 state champs that i know of in that bracket jay sanders from hays and kyle detmer of maize also trravis rempe and blazevic from turner is very good to. 100 looks tough as well from what i've seen all the subs at 100 ar 16-man
but 115 is tough as well crank, whittit, haskins, sherwood, carlson, hanel, manes, blackwood. 120 will be tough as well tanner kriss, clint taylor, john hambleton, kyle caylor.
anywhere that you go you are gonnna find someone that is tough (except for maybe 12U 92)

to be a champion you have to be a contender

Wrestler@165...Ian Whittit locked hands once as well. It was a very good match. Feldkamp had his chance in OT as did Whittit. Ian wanted it more and he worked a smooth takedown...the rest as they say is...HISTORY.

I just wrote out the bracket for 115 and Whittit and Crank will meet in the quarterfinals if they both win their first matches.

Cody Hanel from Beloit is a great wrestler guys.....don't count your chickens before they hatch. Good Luck to all the kids at state and better luck next year to the ones that didn't qualify. Win or Lose****remember you all are equal shining stars!!!

It looks like Fulbright fowled up all the speculation on the 12U 115lb State Placers that has been going on for the past month or so. It just goes back to the old saying that if you haven't been beat yet you haven't been far enough away from home.

Just wanted to say congratulations to all of these wrestlers, especially to Colby Crank. The poll taken showed that he would not take state. Although he placed second, with a very hard fought battle, he beat the kid that was voted to win the state title. GREAT JOB Colby!! I'm proud of you and your accomplishments! You're a wonderful kid, and a fantastic wrestler. My son looks up to you with great pride!!
