Matside Freestyle has been lucky to have Shawn Bunch last week and this week in our practice sessions training for the University world team trials.
Shawn gave a clinic last week and will give another one tomarrow for $15. The clinic starts at 6pm at Gardner wrestling gym at Wheatridge middle school.
These clinics are helping with funding for Shawn's bid at a University world championship. We hope that some local wrestlers from other clubs will take advantage of this opportunity.
Shawn is currently training for the University World Team Trials in Colorado Springs, which starts Thursday. Him and Zach Roberson will likely meet up in the challenge tournament to see who will take on the University national fs champion for the 25 and under world team spot.
