I apologize to everyone considering the Matside FS tournament scheduled for May 14th in Gardner.

Due to several reasons it is now canceled. That same weekend there is a Kendal Cross clinic at Bishop Ward High School, which every serious wrestler and coach should attend.

We also had some problems with facility reservation. Our application for the facility was not approved in time to get everything organized.

Also, Kendal's clinic and reception will be in support of the Tyler Graebner fund, which I feel has priority over a tournament. I will be participating in the fundraiser instead of the tournament, and I hope that everyone else will as well.

To compensate for not having the freestyle tournament, I will be holding a FREE training and competition clinic on Saturday the 7th at Olathe Northwest High School at Noon. It will be in the wrestling room there. It is free for anyone with a USA Wrestling card.

The clinic will feature winning freestyle techniques. We will conclude the clinic with match-ups between any wrestlers who wish to compete against each other in official matches with a certified ref that will be present.

The clinic/competition is for all ages and all levels.

Sounds good Sean. That would help out a lot. I'm hoping some other area coaches will show up to help out, and bring some wrestlers to get some technique and matches. Thanks for the help.

If you weren't there, you missed some good stuff. Thanks for a great clinic Eric.
