There will be a Hog Roast Cancer Benefit for Tim Lytle of Abilene on Saturday, October 21 from 6-8:30 at the Abilene Eagles Club (next to the Pizza Hut about 1/2 mile south of I-70). There will also be many raffle prizes.

Tim and his wife Deb are great supporters of wrestling and are the parents of Seth Lytle (state finalist and 2-time state placer) and also Kim and Miranda, 2 of the best stat girls Abilene has ever had.

This is being organized by the Abilene wrestling family and we would appreciate your support. Tim is receiving treatment in Zion, Illinois, where there is a facility that specializes in his specific cancer. You can give Tim and the Lytle family messages of support at http://www.carepages.com - his carepage name is GitRDone56.

Thank you for your prayers and support.

I was sent a personal message asking where people could send donations to assist the Lytle family, anyone interested please contact me at csrein@hotmail.com and I will send you information.

I was also asked if there were any more fundraisers planned and at this time I do not know of any but I will keep everyone informed.

I hope to see some of you at the hog roast on Saturday night and thank you wrestling family for being so supportive!!!!

There will be another benefit for Tim Lytle and his family Saturday, October 28. It will be a Haunted Hayrack Ride at the south picnic area of Brown's Park, which is located a couple miles south of Abilene off of K-15 (there will be signs to guide you). The rides will start at 8 pm and run until midnight. Cost is $2 per person, kids under 3 are free and there will be hot chocolate, apple cider and Halloween cookies for sale. If you need additional information or better directions feel free to email me at csrein@hotmail.com.

The hog roast benefit last night went incredibly well!!! The turnout was great and a lot of very caring and generous people showed up to support the Lytle family. Thank you from the Abilene wrestling family.
