OK, enought about weight and hydration and predictions....

We need nominees for best looking and worst looking singlets coming into the upcoming season.

My nominee for best looking is Atchison's red and gold pinstripes. My nominee for worst in ANYONE in a white singlet. LOL

Have fun!

Atchison's are actually new Cliff Keens (sublimation)...don't think anyone makes the old material anymore. What I want to find are warm-up robes! Iowa State broke theirs out a few years ago and they were AWESOME!

Ive never been a fan of Atchison's singlets in the past. Just not appealing to my eye. The warm-up robes would be pretty awesome to see.

We have ordered new ones this year at Sabetha, the Okie style by Cliff Keen, with the wide shoulder straps. They will be silver on the body with navy panels. No writing or logo on front but a nice 3" Blue Jay, drawn by a student, on the back between the shoulder blades.
I was a fan of the style worn by Norton in the finals and used it for "inspiration" for the logo placement. I also find Atchsions singlets nice in design, and I liked Colby's white finals singlets. And robes, like Gabel's in the nationals videos, would be awesome but would the ahtletes like them?
I think matching shoes would be sweet but costly to the athlete in the end when you add in the t-shirt for the season, one for state, and any you buy at the tourneys make it impractical.
Just some thoughts!

I think the athletes wouldn't mind the robes, it would be different from what other schools have. Heck Edinboro they wear the kilts out to the mat.

OK, I will concede that Colby's whites look pretty good. But can we at least pass a constitutional amendment against "Speedo Legs?"

As for the robes, they would look incredible. Aaron -- Kelly Green robes? Awesome!!! Just no kilts; please God, no kilts!
