Click Here for Tournament Flyer 1st year wrestlers only! I reiterate this because I have had several calls and emails asking if their wrestler qualifies or not. This takes the debate out of defining a Novice wrestler or an Open wrestler. It doesn't matter if your 1st year wrestler has placed in some big Open tournaments or even a National, if it is truly his/her first year he/she qualifies. Basically put it makes a level playing field for all involved since all involved are in their first year of wrestling.
