i personally think furches is better then cox. i think hes won more matchups in the past year or so. and keller beat furches like, 7-2 at the derby tourny if i remember right, so i think theres a case their.. disney is really freakin good, but i noticed no sophs were ranked at heavyweight, and when in doubt you probably go with the older kids. the kid from nebraska who beat caldwell isn't ranked, so if hes not ranked caldwell probably shouldn't either. i dont, they aren't perfect, i'd probably give the nod to a couple more ks kids but theres probably a couple kids in a lot of states that are not ranked that you could make an argument for. sidenote: anyone excited to see the outcome of #2 Dom Bradley vs. #4 Elijah Madison in the MO Final? madison got him earlier this year but that should be one hell of a match.

It was a typo on the tournament page...Romero won 10-2 not 11-9

The biggest problem with the Kansas boys not getting ranked is they are not allowed to go out and wrestle the best kids during the High School season. We need to push this because if we want to start a college program then we need to show the Kansas and Kansas state athletics that we can beat the best in the nation. We have top-notch coaches that could coach them at the next level like Zach Roberson, Eric Akin, Bo Maynes, Austin Devoe, Justin Dyer, eRIC Klemm, Coach Garcia from Hutch and many more

Another thing is these are the all calss rankings and they only ranked the top 12. If there were a top 25 some of those guys may be in there, but getting in the top 12 is tough in the all class.
Disney you will probably see pop in next summer. Same with some of the other guys. One of the big criteria is the Junior Division at Fargo... Not completely but largely. Disney and some of those other guys will pop in after they wrestled the Junior Division in Fargo. Especially Disney. Elliot I don't think wrestled last summer... wasn't he hurt or something?... if anyone knows.... Anyway, basically a lot of this is deteremined by what happens at the Junior Regionals.... especially in Veagas and Iowa, FILA Cadet, FILA Juniors, Cadet Duals, Junior Duals, and Especially Fargo, Cadet and Junior...... What our kids do at those competitions will largely determine their rankings.

if disney would have pulled out a win vs. madison he'd probably be ranked. i think madison beat him like 5-2 or 5-3, something like that. disney is the type of kid who could be one of the best heavyweights in the country by his senior year. caldwell would probably be ranked if he hadnt been beat by the kid from nebraska. i'm sure though after guys like caldwell and disney win another state title and then preform like they are capable of in the summer at big tournaments, such as Fargo among others they will be ranked.
