Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Matches to watch at State!

First of all I want to say congratulations to everyone who made it to state. What are some of the matches to watch? I'm going to start with #215 5a, maybe because I'm partial to this bracket. With Bach, Hammer, Sparks all in the top side, and each worthy of being a State Champion. Bouts #161, and #305 will be ones to watch. The winner of #305 will likely end up State Champion. Anyone have other matches that catch their eye that are worthy of championship matches that will happen early in the bracket?

Yes Congratulations to all wrestlers. I do want to say look at 6A 152, the top 4 ranked are all on the same side of the bracket. That should be interesting. I am sure there are other bracket that are similar.

in 6a 152 Petty beat Reinhart so if the rankings were to be updated Petty would move up.

Kirk Godfrey #2 in 5a at 130 and bahee #1 5a second round at state should be a good one.

2nd round at 6A 125 will match Tannenbaum and Blackburn, #2 vs. #3.

321a kinda dissapointed that Rogers will meet Hase in the semis kinda makes the 112 finals seem like a downer....oh well can't wait to see if hase will rebound after the loss at beloit in the finals

Yes its disappointing...but you cant forget Keiswetter of Norton. Hase will meet him in the quarters. Should be a good match

it's Bahe in 4 yrs he's like 135-7

godfrey is a 2x placer and a senior I wouldn't count him out.

If Grape is over his injury and wrestle's like he can I see him winning 5a 152, but that bracket is wide open

I think Kirk can beat him but it sure will be a good match to wach. Who is the New Coach In Ark City Anyway?

5A 152# What about Cameron Rijoas from Ark City? He has been wrestling pretty good

pretty much all classes of 135 will have great matchups. A lot of great kids who are all gonna be after the title
