I would like to publicly thank my team for a wonderful year, to acomplish what you did was amazing. Winning the Big 7 league title for the first time in 14 years, winning all league duals, finishing 2nd at Regionals, and finishing 7th at State with 4 medalists.
It has been wonderful to have a group of Seniors step up and lead a team, Jason Pyle winning his 3rd State Title and going undefeated, Trent Snyder placing 3rd and having a huge tournament, Andrew Stover for showing that with determination anything is possible and placing 6th, and for the best quater finals round in my coaching career.
Thank you to all the fans, coaches, and wrestlers at the 321-A tournament for making it the most memorable in a long time-a friggin tie for the Title-unbelieveable! COngrats to Coaches Brock Hutchinson and Andy Niemczyk on winning a team title and to Norton for showing great heart and fighting back to take 3rd. It was nice to have new faces at the tourney like Scott City to make the tourney even more competitive, and they made a great showing.
I am sad that the season has ended but excited about new beginnings and the chance of having another State Champ next year in Jordan Meyer who was a State Runner-up by one point! He also had an awesome tournament!
Best of Luck in freestyle/greco, kids, and Sr. Classics schedule and the off-season too all. See in Hays next year-maybe we can get iced-in again!

Congrats Coach Brown. We talked several times on the telecast how tough the Sabetha wrestlers were. Very impressive. Sometimes we have a "Western Kansas bias" tendency, but programs like Sabetha prove there's lots of good wrestling east of Highway 81

Thank you, I have not seen the telecast yet but my mother-in-law was lucky enough to get it recorded today from Larned. Everyone in 321-A is lucky to have great TV coverage, makes it all that much more special.
