Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle Best Western-Park City

We stayed at the Best Western in Park City this weekend. There were alot of unhappy people there, because of them shutting down the courtyard @ 11pm. We are trying to talk the hotel into locking this weekend down for just wrestling families, so that other guest aren't always complaining about so many kids running around. They are trying to come up with a plan for next year so that they can accommidate so many kids and their families. This is one of the more popular hotels to stay at for the classics, and we really enjoyed getting to know alot of the other clubs staying there. I hope that next year can be alot better for us wrestling parents and our kids that are needing some down time.

I'm not trying to start a fight but I am usually one of those unhappy guests complaining about wrestlers running through the halls. Big Tournament and the kids are still up and playing after 10:00 pm. It is hard to get mine to sleep while others are up running the halls.

I also stayed at the best western and there was not a kid out in the hallways Friday night after 10 and 11 on Saturday! However Our coached would have liked to have a little quiet, wind down time to discuss the Saturday tourney without disturbing our own kids sleeping in the rooms and they wouldn't even let us stay in the lobby quietly! We were told that you were not allowed in any shared space out of your room after 11! Not even the vending machines! I mean what a joke! Oh and by the way there was absolutely no hot water in any of our 18 rooms we had rented!~
