Wow. Three state champions, four seconds and 10 state placers out of 16. Now that's a bracket.

Wow. Three state champions, four seconds and 10 state placers out of 16. Now that's a bracket. Looks like a lot of really good wrestlers will not place. This should be a fun bracket to watch.

10/70lbs. is very tough.
When discussing topics like this one, some people seem to be blinded by only wrestlers that are around their son's or daughter's weight.

I would consider Haralson the favorite in that bracket.

But are these really kids? As the topic heading would suggest. This is a perfect example of why High schoolers have their place in this series. This bracket is as close to a "Grand State" that you will get. Will they have their A game? I would bet not. These guys tend to get a little soft after the regular season. But all being equal it should a great bracket to watch!

I believe these guys will bring their A game because they have an understanding of pride and are good enough that they don't want to loose to anyone. Is it like a grand state? Kind of, sort of, but not really. It will make for some good wrestling though as long as none of the guys schedules a date while the tournament is going on.

I believe the toughest kids bracket is the one that (Your) kid is wrestling in!! I tell my boy that he is to go out there and wrestle like every single kid he wrestles IS the best wrestler in the world. Good luck to everyone this weekend. Who's more nervous you or your wrestler???

you could make an arguement for most every bracket at state... Some arguments would be weaker than others. Yes, for example, the brackets with only two or three kids! All ya gotta do is make weight to be state placer.
