Sorry I am late doing this. It has been a crazy week for me.

I heard many wonderful comments over the weekend. But pulling a great tournament off takes a lot of work from a lot of people.

First to Chad and Gonzo for geting the mats and the crew to set up and tear down, THANK YOU!

To those drove up on Thursday and Friday Morning, and stayed late on Sunday, THANK YOU.

Leanna and all of the Ladies at the Head Table, and Tom Smith. You always do a great job, and you had to put up with the fat man always walking on the platform, THANK YOU!

The District Directors who organize a army of people to work tables, mop mats, work weigh-ins, THANK YOU!

To the Army....THANK YOU!!

To the parents and coaches for giving up a lot of family time this past season, THANK YOU!!!

Jeef Sheets, Bob Phillps, and Randy for doing whatever need to be done, THANK YOU!

To the wrestlers who provided some the best wrestling matches that I have seen at a Kids Tournament in along time...THANK YOU!!

To the UCLA Bruins for making my weekend THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Now lets get ready for some summer wrestling!!

A big thank you to all involved for making the State Tournament the greatest event for kids in the state. I have been to World Series tournaments, football and basketball events, and nothing compares to our state tournament. Keep up the great work !!

First of all, on behalf of the Danny, Gavin and I, we would like to say "THANK YOU" for the Greg Grater Memorial Tournament in his honor! We know he was smiling down on us during the Kids State Tournament. Greg loved this tournament and enjoyed getting to see all the old friends as well as making some new ones. To him, it wasn't about what we wanted as coaches and parents, but WHAT WAS BEST FOR THE KIDS!!

I would like to echo Ned's comments and thank EVERYONE who helped out with the tournament no matter how small or big of a part you played. Without all the volunteers, we could not pull this off! It takes a lot of preparation work and hours prior to the State Tournament, along with many hours the weekend of. A special thank you to my ladies and Tom at the Head Table, "You are one in a million"!!

I feel I can speak on behalf of the State Tournament Committee, "We wouldn't give of our personal, family, or club time if we didn't love the sport, the people we meet, and what we do!"

The Kansas Expocentre continues to work with us and whenever we ask, they generally take care of things for us! Thanks to HR, Ivory, John, Jeff, HOA, and the rest of the Expocentre gang!! I truly appreciate all you do.

We tried some new things this year with the weigh-in, relocation of vendor booths, and moving 8 and unders to the center. Hopefully, it worked well and will continue to grow.

We welcome your comments and will do what we can to make it better FOR ALL INVOLVED!!
