Technique Camp: For wrestlers of all ages. Sessions will focus mostly on fundamental basics and developmental techniques from all areas of wrestling. Sessions will be predominately instructional, but will have some live wrestling and conditioning. Technique camp will be designed for wrestlers from a wide range of levels who seek to increase their knowledge of the wrestling basics, meet other area wrestlers, and gain further introduction to the sport.
Technique Camp Schedule
Monday 18th
8:15am On-site registration for all wrestlers who are not pre-registered.
9:00am - 10:30am Session One: position, motion, engagement, tie-up control.
12:30pm - 2:00pm Session Two: leg attacks and finishes, live wrestling.
Tuesday 19th
9:00am - 10:30am Session Three: take down defense & defensive scoring.
12:30am - 2:00pm Session Four: break-downs and pin holds, escapes, sparring.
Technique camp pre-registration cost: $60
On-site registration: $75

Intensive Camp: For wrestlers of all ages. However, sessions are designed for athletes with sufficient wrestling experience and a high learning curve. . .athletes should need minimal assistance executing the demonstrated techniques and drills. In short, not for beginners. Sessions will have winning technique instruction, fast paced developmental drills, lots of live wrestling, and intense conditioning. Intensive camp will also be designed for wrestlers seeking to: train for high level events remaining this summer, prepare to win a state title next year, spar with top wrestlers from the area, and develop mental toughness.
Intensive Camp Schedule
Monday 18th
10:00am On-site registration for all wrestlers not pre-registered.
10:30am - Noon Session One: takedown instruction, drills, live sparring.
2:00pm - 3:30pm hard warm-up, intense drilling, live sparring, conditioning.
Tuesday 19th
10:30am - Noon Session Three: winning technique instruction, live sparring.
2:00pm - 3:30pm Session Four: short instruction, live sparring, conditioning.
Intensive camp pre-registration cost: $60
