Yes its me, I wouldn't expect too many posts from me this year. I've learned its best not to comment on here. I often come here to read whats going on in the world of wrestling, and I mostly send private messages to certain members on here. And of course to offer my sympathy and encouragement any time a tragedy happens involving our sport. Speaking of which my mother who has been my guiding light through my entire wrestling career ( some 19 years )was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastic lung cancer. Doctor told her she's got less than 6 months left. She in the hospital and has been for the last 3 days with liver complications from the tumors which spread there from the lung. I'm hoping that she can make it through the holidays and stay in good spirits. I know probably none of the people who visit this site have ever met her, but she's an awesome lady. Even though she thought wrestling was boring except when I was wrestling, she was there at every one of my matches \:\) I've already told her that I'm not too happy about having to find someone else to hem my officiating pants.

And you won't find me at the former Stuckey's... too many people know who I am, it just wouldn't go over well. But someone in town told me they saw an old man with grey hair wearing a Hawaiian shirt hanging out by Stuckey's \:\)

By the way, if there are any officials still looking for tournament dates don't hesitate to message me. I get tons of calls from club directors needing officials and I am mostly booked by this time of year.

Good luck to all wrestlers and coaches this season, I look forward to possibly officiating your matches. I encourage you all to come up and talk with me if you see me at any tournaments.

Nigel,

I am sorry to hear about your mother. My mom died of cancer in December of 2004. I would encourage you to speak from your heart and tell her things that she might never have heard you say. It is an empty space that can't be filled, but I thank God for those times that we shared at the end of her life.

I will pray that God gives her peace and relief from her pain as well as courage for you to be a steady support at her side.
