Wyatt Anderson qualified for state. Guessing that some others kids gained at the same rate as him and DJ; Nicholas Nece form WWC was first and Cole Wolfsbauer from Eureka was fourth at state (8 95). TJ Russell from Coffeyville is also very good as is Alex Son from SEK. I am assuming that some of these guys are 9 and I have no clue about 10 year olds, other than Brycen Gulick from Caney who is pretty darn good but he may be at 100.

If the TJ Russell from Coffeyville you are talking about is Tyler Russell, he is not wrestling this year...he is playing the "B" word.....

Yes hate to hear that about Mr Russell from Coffeyville. DJ is looking for to the rematch between him and Wyatt since he knocked him off last year at districts. I am not sure if DJ will be wrestling in the 100 or the 110 this year. He is setting at 102 right now but will probably drop some from workouts. We will see.

Brycen had a severe leg injury in football leaving his leg paralyzed for ten days. He has been in physical therapy ever since getting it built back up. Just got final word Friday that he will not be able to wrestle at all this year. May be looking at surgery if his range of motion is not better in four weeks.

Good luck Wyatt, hope you get a return trip to state this year! It is hard for Brycen to be a spectator at the tournaments but he enjoys being matside with you.

Wyatt tells me to let Brycen know he is thinking of him and appreciates his support at tournaments. Get well for us, we need you for football in the fall!
