What about Blaine Smith, did he wrestle at 103 or 112 and what did he do at whatever weight he wrestled at.

Here's some info from the Newton newspaper, taken from Friday's action. It includes the results from the semi's.

Allsports -

You are full of it. I have watched Romero wrestle since he was little. He is a very aggressive wrestler but I have never seen him do anything close to close to being called inappropriate. Look at your post: "I heard", "I belive". You don't know one thing for certain.

I also note you created your account just prior to posting the email. I really don't care who are as I could give a Rats *** about you but I wanted to post this so others would know not to give your post in credence.

Bishop Carroll had somewhere in the neighberhood of 250 points. Clay Center was second with 182, Manhattan was third, and Colby was fourth. Coach Charbonneau from Clay Center was selected as the outstanding coach which must be new this year.

Who is this person...this is horrible.

I do not know Wood very well at all, but I do know he and my son wrestled last weekend and he never show any unsportsman behavior. My son had nothing but good to say about him.

Chief... only one problem with those results. Colvin didn't tech Miller it was the other way around. Arnold is a beast! I have never seen anybody throw a head lock that hard from their knees before in the finals!

Thanks, I pasted it from the paper. Didn't think that Colvin beat Miller.

You're right....That was a nasty head lock that Arnold threw. It came out of no where. I haven't seen one like that since the high school days of Ross Taplin.
Isenberg also threw a pretty slick one at the beginning of his championship match with Nelson. By the way, these two had some of the best scrambles I've seen since the Isenberg vs Arnold match @ last year's TOC. Both wrestlers seemed to have huge gas tanks.
I was also impressed with Mitch Wood-Hutch. He was giving Andrus all he could handle for most of the match. It looked like Andrus had a taped up leg & was hobbling around.
Speaking of injuries, where was Kolmer-Emp? Is he injured?

Miller made it to the championship but was the victim of Arnold's nasty headlock in the 1st period. As noted earlier, the newspaper reported Miller getting beat in the semi's, but he actually tech falled his opponent to get to the championship.
