Valley Center will be hosting, what has been said to be one of the greatest Tournaments in the area on Jan 5th.

Both Gym's will be used ( 8 wrestling surfaces ) and set up the same way as Sub's is going to be.

Private Coaches/Officals room with TV's (to keep current on the football scores) and food and refreshmints.(you must have a coaches card to enter).

Trophies will be awarded to the top 4 in each weight and also a outstanding wrestler trophy for each age group and a top team Trophy.

They will be using the Digial time clocks for this Tournament and Subs.

Everyone is encouraged to take advantage of the Friday night weigh-in, there is a basketball game that night, so be looking for signs to locate the weight in room.

This Tournament has Limited entries, So dont wait.

GREENSBURG KIDS WRESTLING CLUB

Valley Center Kids Wrestling club will have a box set up for donations going to the Kids wrestling clubs of Greensburg, Kansas.

As we all know, wrestling shoes dont wear out, they become to small please bring any old wrestling gear thats just taking up space and donate to the Greensburg club.

VCKWC is donating all of there olds singlets, and after speaking with there coach, they are in need of everything.

I know if we all pull together we can help our fellow wrestling family.

We are still taking entries for the Valley Center Open.

We have extended the deadline until Sunday Night at midnight.

The deadline for entry into the Valley Center open is midnight tonight.

I know the Valley Center novice tournament is run by the Valley Center High School and not the kids club, but will there also be a donation box set up during this novice tournament as well? We will not be able to attend the Valley Center Open tournament this year due to several commitments that weekend, however we have several donated pairs of shoes that could be donated to help out our Greensburg family.

Yes, We will have a Donation box at the Valley Center Novice Tournament on Jan 6th also. We all as a Wrestling Community are proud and very willing to help the Greensburg Kids Wrestling program. We believe that, and hope other clubs will do the same at there Tournaments in the near future.

Thank You to everyone that sent entries into our Tournament, Its stacking up to be very, very stiff competition. We also wanted everyone to know that when we heard that Wellington was canceling there Tournament, we tried to get a hold of all the clubs and give them a change to get entered. We apologizie if we couldn't or didn't get a hold of everyone. We are sending all of our finalized entries to trackwrestling today and have them uploaded. Again we are very sorry that Wellington had to cancel and we tried our best to contact the clubs that were entried.
