Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Toughest 4a regional?

Alright everyone, start the debate, what is the toughest regional this year for 4a? Here is the breakdown for ranked teams at each place:

Eudora: six ranked teams (4,7,8,9,11,15)
Columbus: five ranked teams (4,12,13,14,18)
Clearwater: four ranked teams (1,3,6,19)
Perry Lecompton: four ranked teams (2,10,16,17)

I personally think that this year it was spread out almost perfect with the exception that three of the top six teams are at the same tournament. But other than that, it is pretty evenenly broken down!
Note: Labette and Santa Fe Trail are tied for 4th, that is why there are two 4th's and no 5th.
The rankings are based off of Feb. 10th, 2007 rankings by Kit Harris (which has Spring Hill listed twice).

If you average them all out: Perry ( 11.25 )
Clearwater ( 7.25 )
Columbus ( 12.2 )
Eudora ( 9 )
But I would say Eudora, based on more numbers

I would also say that how hard a regional is also depends on how full the brackets are. Whatever regional has the fullest brackets I think would be the toughest to a certain extent.

I would have to say that the Clearwater regional will be the toughest. It will be the one where the 4 representatives will have the best record and probably the highest rankings. However, I must acknowledge that there will be some upsets at all of them, which will alter the perception of each regional.
