Trevor Lowell and Budke would have to be contenders if they stay at 61.

Will from Salina may be the best I have seen so far. Others that look good are Villers and Seabolt

I have to throw my son's name out there as well! CJ Long at Boo's School. Villers is a great competitor and will definitely be taking one of the top spots!

Dont forget about Kolby Drogemeier from rossville he beat Dultmeir at hutch. He laid an egg his first match at subs, we talked to him & he cleaned up the back side for 3rd.

Drogemeier looked vey impressive at Hutch so if he can wrestle like that at districts and state I would give him a shot to be top 6.

I just looked, again, at the brackets from Districts 2,3 & 4. A few names I have heard or my son has met up with - but most are unknown to him and me. I wonder what the statistics are for this age and weight bracket in the state. There are so many wrestlers in this bracket!!
Most of the wrestlers my guy has wrestled have been top quality. I admire the fact that they can go on the mat ready to annihilate each other and when the match is over be friends.
Good luck to all.

Look out for Drogemeier, Dultmeier, Villers, Long, Budke ... look out for everybody. This age/weight is the toughest in the state. Kids better have technique like John Smith but muscles like Hulk Hogan to win this one.

I'll throw my sons name out there. Chase Reynolds moved from 64 to 61 and beat Drogemeir at Ottawa. Every kid from D1N is tough and wish them all good luck at districts.I'll be cheering for all the D1N kids at districts.I think there a prime example of how good the wrestling has become in northeast Kansas.

If you go to the brackets and click on the "Little Blue Numbers", it shows the wrestler's records.

Are the records shown only from Kansas tournaments?
