Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School SPRING/SUMMER WRESTLING

We are an hour to hour and a half away from everywhere. I am looking for the closest opportunity for my kids to practice. I don't know exactly what all is out there. Another option would be if someone was willing to come to our place once a week for a small stipend then the kids could practice on what they were taught until the coach came back the next week. I would also like for them to have the opportunity to compete in tournaments. I am a folkstyle coach who coaches from November to February, but I am looking to take the next step and need some guidance. With gas prices and the limited funds available to my kids and their families, any ideas or thoughts are welcome. We are going to have to be creative. Walter ... have you considered the Silver College in Vegas this year? You'll get about 40 hours of training about half in the classroom and half on the mat!

Plus if you attend, you get tickets to the Olympic Team Trials!!

Could you explain? Dates and Expenses? Application? Or tell me where to go on the internet to read about it.
