First of all, I would like to thank Renee and ALL the crew for a job VERY WELL DONE in Ottawa today. In my opinion, it was very well planned and executed. My son wrestled four matches in the same amount of time that he barely got two done yesterday in Bi-Districts. Also, I appreciate the Parade of Champions. Was the highlight of the day for him (what an awesome memory it will create for the wrestlers and their families). Also a pat on the back for the official on mat 8 all day. Very respectful to all the kids.
Now for the 58lb results:

1st - Troy Fisher - Garden Plain
2nd - Cole Addie - Bonner Springs
3rd - Kade Miller - Osborne
4th - C. Robinson - Ark. City
5th - Brady Bockover - Wichita
6th - Cade Lautt - K.C. Wrestling Club

VERY TOUGH BRACKET- Fisher looked AWESOME. Only watched him a few times before today but he was really fun to watch. Also, very good sportsmanship by ALL wrestlers and coaches in this weight........And isn't that what is the most important thing, anyway? My son talked the entire 4 1/2 hours home. THANKS AGAIN for a wonderful experience.

just wondering if you knew who the 55 pounders that placed are. My boy wrestled 58 most the year but was only weighing 54 so I dropped him to 55 for topeka while we were at 58 he beat cade miller at the norton tourny. just wondering how he may do at 55 at topeka.

Thanks Ottawa for putting on a great tournament with TOUGH competition. Our kid wrestled at 55, did not place but had 4 exciting matches.

congrats to troy fisher. he wrestled like the champ he is this weekend. hopefully many more to come unless he is in my sons weight class. also to jackson hartley and brycen shcroeder from haysville, and seth bugner from brawlers. its been fun watching the kids and getting to know the parents of these kids. cant wait until next year but am glad this season is over. need the break mentally for me and physically for brady. hope we can get the baseball thing worked out next summer after they beat on each other again next wrestling season.
