Does anyone know who will be presented as Triple Crown Winners this year? Can anyone tell me what qualifies a wrestler to be considered a Triple Crown Winner???

You will have to wait until April when Reno Worlds are held. A wrestler has to WIN Cliff Keen Kickoff, Tulsa Nationals, and Reno Worlds, to win the Triple Crown.

I thought the Triple Crown was the winner of the Kids folkstyle nationals, freestyle nationals, and greco-roman nationals? What am I thinking of?

I think Kansas recognizes a triple crown winner as a state champion of folkstyle, greco and freestyle. Either that or they win the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and the Belmont Stakes.

I think WeBelieve is refering to the Kansas Tripple Crown that kicked off last season. Three-Style Champs in Kansas Folkstyle, Kansas Freestyle and Kansas Greco-Roman get recoginized at Kids State.

I also believe the National Triple Crown is winning USA nationals in Iowa then winning Freestyle/Greco in Wisconsin in the same year.

Last year there were 9 I believe for the KS triple crown. I am not sure how many there are this year.

Liberty, Dixie, and BigHorn is called Americas Crown. Tulsa, CK kickoff and Reno is the Trinity. Winning USA Nationals, in Folk, FS and GR is called the triple crown.
What is being referred to is the Kansas Triple crown for winning state titles in folk, FS and GR. Missouri does the same thing. Just trying to promote those who wrestle all three and Kansas Wrestling.
John, Hopefully the jackets are different this year, and change each year. Sorry about what happened to Cameron's though.
