We are hosting an old-timers' tournament on April 26. Here are some of the details:

weigh-in at Onaga High School 8:30-10 a.m.

anyone who has completed high school eligibility qualifies as an
old-timer

round robin format (most likely)

$20 entry fee per wrestler

email entries to kitet@usd322.org or to bigcedars@bluevalley.net or call
785-889-4550 and
leave a message: name, age, weight, contact information

If there's anything I have obviously left out that people would need to
know, shoot me a line back.
I appreciate any help you can give us. Thanks!

You need to see if they will post the info on the kids tournament schedule. I had trouble finding the info.

WOOO HOOOO! I might actually be able to make it to that one! I would be in the large old or extra large old category. It depends on how tall the other guys are.

If schedule conflicts hold me out of this one I hope to make the sunflower games again this July 12 and 13. Here's the link http://www.sunflowergames.com/sports/Wrestling;jsessionid=531A95E3D94EE1C608B179245891F671.vipa-02a.

I'm waiting for the too old, too fat, not in shape, never was in shape and no skills division!!

p.s. and I want to be the only entrant because I don't want to have to put on a singlet ... and you don't either!!!

I made the mistake of wearing a singlet a few years back at the sunflower games. A couple years later I watched the video with my son.

After the first couple periods my son says "Dad, that fat guy is kickin your a**!!"

I was first confused and then explained "Son, I'm winning the match!"

Since then, singlets are off limits for me.
