I wanted to show my support for a spacial young man who wrestles for the Topeka Thunderbirds. Nick Meck 12 and U 130 has accomplished an amazing feat. He has won a state championship and just won Brute Nationals without a single loss all year long. This young man will be the last one to blow his own horn and has been a quiet champion all year long. I want to thank him for all the practices and hard work he put in this year. Sometimes I don't think he realizes what he has accomplished. GREAT JOB NICK.

Great job Nick. That is a great accomplishment, I have come to know Nick over the years and think he is a terrific wrestler and also a terrific young man off the mat. GREAT JOB!!!

Nick is a great kid and a special wrestler. He's going to be one of the kids they are talking about on the high school forum next year as a freshman to watch. I predict a great high school career for him.

To all of you that made comments on this thread thanks for you kind words about my son. Nick has worked hard this year and he is ready for a break. He read these comments and says thank you. His mom and I are proud of him and his brothers. His twin brother also placed at state and brute nationals.
For the record he did loose two matches at the Park Hill Middle School Dual in early part of the season.
John I always enjoy watching your son wrestle he is a fine young man.
ps Nick will be in the 8th grade next year.

I lost to Nick twice this season and i would have to say hes one of the kids that i wasnt mad about losing to.
