Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Border wresting

This is AdamPolansky I'm a coach at republic County I wanted to float an idea by some people. I was thinking that there should be a Nebraska Kansas border wrestling exhibition like kansas City has a missouri- kansas one. I know there is some very good wrestling on each side of the border. Belleville would be a nice central location (And we are in desperate need of some funding) and would be willing to host such and event.

Here are some ground rules I was thinking about
1. for seniors only
2. school must be 50 miles from border
3. State Placer

We are going to try to have a Fed. tournament March 7th and maybe have the border event that evening to try to bolster attendence

You may want to talk to Beau Vest at Dana, he may interested in helping with something like that

are you talking about only state placers there senior year or any of there four years in high school. if any of there four years they placed then its a great idea but you may find it hard to fill the weights if your justing for placers there senior year. with in fifty miles in either state.
