Valley Center, Emporia, Gardner, Bishop Carroll, Liberal, and Lansing. Valley Center or Emporia would be my early favorite.

Some may be overlooking the depth that Bishop Carroll has. Yes it is true Carroll lost some great outstanding wrestlers from last year and this team could have been called the DREAM TEAM. The 2 Keller brothers,Mitch A.,Tyler R.all State Champs. What a great year it was to watch Bishop Carroll Wrestling and how exciting it was every time one walked into a Dual or Tournament. However, Carroll also has some great wrestlers returning K. Detmer,Jake Cole,Beau H.,Timmy Chadd,Jake M.,Tony M.,Dylan P. all outstanding wrestlers and all have a great chance to become State Champs themselves. What I think is going to surprise everyone is the kids that have been working in the shadows at Bishop Carroll. With such an outstanding line up over the past few years these kids have been working hard and have just been waiting for their chance to step out. I think we will see some new names step up to fill in the blanks at Bishop Carroll.

Bishop Carroll will be good I am sure. Emporia, Valley Center, Liberal, Ark City also- But Gardner-Edgerton will be in the hunt. Nine state qualifiers are coming back. A young team last year they gained some valuable experience and got a taste of what it is going to take to win it all.

My All-Class Team ranking will be released on October 1st. Probably two or three 5A schools will make the top ten. If you haven't already, PM me with any input!

I'll never forget when he pinned Ray Kramer Jr. from Goddard twice in the same match at state.

I think this year will be exiting with alot of teams in the hunt. Last year it was a forgone conclusion who would win 5A. This year the wichita city leauge and state will have a little more drama, should be fun. By the way Berry is a beast, just ask him.

I will agree Dan the man Berry is an outstanding wrestler in his own mind. I also remember the match against Ray K. Jr. However, it was not one of Dan's best matches. I would not in any case except this one make a comment about a kid like I am about to do. However, would you not agree that Ray K. Jr. looked somewhat like a fish during that match?
