...agreed. But, I think this may show the importance of persistence when trying to implement change. The squeaky wheel often gets the grease.

Overall, I think this decision was a good one for wrestling. While it initially may leave high school wrestling coaches competing for a finite amount of student athletes available time during the offseason, I think in the long run the position to let the coaches coach is a positive move for the development of the student athlete.

Wrestling was already open.

I was going to say the same thing. Once the school year is over we are allowed to work with wrestlers throughout the summer months. As a football coach too, I'm glad to see that change.
