We are approaching the time each year when a club affiliation is most important. The Standing Rules for the Kids Division defines a Kansas Kids club member as a wrestler on the roster of a club that has had its USA Wrestling Club charter approved. From a practical standpoint, this requirement doesn't have much meaning until the subdistrict tournament, where entries must be processed through the member’s club.

If you are unhappy with your current club, you have four options: (1) try to work things out with your club to your satisfaction, (2) find another chartered club which is willing to add you to their roster, (3) start and charter a new club or (4) remain independent and forgo the Kids’ state championships series (subdistrict, district & state).
