I just had to say that I was surprised that this tournament got started pretty close to the scheduled time. I figured with the snow and the scratches (don't know how many, but had to be more than a handful) that we would be looking at an hour to hour and a half delay easy.
Also, great medals!!! Shaped like the state of Kansas (4" by 2 1/4") with waving wheat in the west and a star on the tournament location, and the spinning Ottawa Invitational medallion in the center. I don't know the exact weight, but they were nice and heavy too. As you can tell by my detailed description, I was impressed.
