The club pays for entry fees and if they place we also reimburse hotel cost. The club buys them State Jackets with their name and how they did. State Champion State Placer State Qualifier Then every year they make it back to state we update the jacket. As they get bigger we also buy them a larger jacket as long as they continue to qualify.

Jr Vikings pays entry fees for all of our kids(usually over 35 kids) to go to subs. The club also pays district entry fees as well as state entry fees for all qualifiers. All qualifiers receive Tshirts and hoodies with their names ages and wts on them.

We are Team Haysville! We also usually do the State Tee Shirts. Then at the end of the year all the state qualifiers are recognized again at our clubs awards banquet. I have had some PMs asking how we afford all of this. All of our coaches and board members volunteer their time. With the fund raisers that we do we try to give as much back to the kids as possible. We also have programs to help people that have trouble making entry fees or maybe help with shoes (we recycle). Its all about the kids and trying not to let todays ecconomy keep good kids from wrestling.

This is not a jab at anyone... But there are clubs out there that charge WAY more then we do for "sign up fees". They also have tournaments that are WAY bigger then ours. I know they got to be driving $10K, $15K, MAYBE $20K a year into their club. Where does all the money go? I have even heard of clubs charging parents an extra $1 to $2 for every tournament as an admin fee. Thats why we try soooo hard to give as much as we can back to the kids.

our club charges 75.00 to join. that includes their USA card, club t-shirt and shorts, vouchers for 3 tournaments during the course of the year, entry fees into subs and onto district and state if they qualify. we host a tourny and have some local buisnesses that sponsor us as well. we also do the recycle deal with shoes, singlets and headgear as our kids grow out of them. I believe we even provide some scholarships for kids that can use some help getting involved with the sport.
The state qualifying t-shirts and hoodies are extra perks for the qualifiers.

BLT and mmeditz
Your clubs are awesome.
We charge 40.00 to join our club and that includes USA card and a club t-shirt. I guess if we charged more we could give back more, but we have some of the younger ones that only wrestle at our home tournament or one other. That is the main reason we don't charge more, so to keep everyone in the club. This is especially true in the troubling financial times.
We do pay for kids entries to state and for a state qualifying t-shirt. We raise money throughout the year and part of that goes to pay for coaches cards. None of our coaches pay for their cards. All they do is give a ton of time with little or no thanks. It is the least we can do for them.

Pretty sure we pay $100.
You get: - USA card - Loaner singlet - Coaching - Entry to Districts (not subs) and State - To help run club tournament (800 entries)
We buy our own warm-ups, t-shirts, shorts

We pay our kids entry to all tournaments (everyone through state). We give them a free t-shirt for qualifying for state. We pay our Head Coach and Head Assistant Coach's hotel room costs.
Our club registration cost is $120. That takes care of card, t-shirt, hoodie and as many entries into tournaments as they want to go to. In return all we ask is that they sell cookie dough as a fundraiser and help at our tournament. If someone registers for a tourney and does not show they pay the club back the entry fee. We have scholarships available to those in need. This year we have had sponsors around the community donate funds to cover scholarshiped kids.

As far as I know our club charges $80.00 and that gets you your card, a loaner singlet, a t-shirt and shorts set and a hoodie and sweat pants set. We pay our own entry fees, and I'll tell you that with 2 wrestlers and 3 fans every week, Saturday's are usually the most expensive day of the week for our household, and that's with packing a few coolers, But....I LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!

Winfield pays for 1 night of lodging, buys the kids state t-shirts, We take them and their families to eat Saturday night, and the ladies make up posters for their hotel doors and make them a bag with snack foods and drinks. And they usually pay for dist. and state entry fees.

ELLSWORTH pays for districts and state and gives qualifiers tshirts.during the year the parents pay for all tournaments we pay 30 for card and 80 deposit for loaner tournament and practice singlets shoes and headgear and hoodie that all need to be turned in at the dinner at the end of the year where the club gives you a check for the deposit back..they also pay for coaches cards background checks if pass and the class..the kids recieve a tshirt at beginning of year as well as coaches and anyone else who wants one needs to purchase it..if wrestler wants to keep hoodie its 22 dollars..at the end of the year dinner we have a potluck and the state qualifiers get a certificate given by the state and we put names on them..the club reserves the rooms but we pay for them when we get there..thats pretty much ellsworth in a nut shell but I wish we could do a fundraiser or something to help kids with 3 in wrestling and husband suffering a layoff we had to skip a few tournaments..I just lucky my kids understand and liked the break before it crunch time..see you all at subs districts and fingers crossing STATE
