bodhi,
I don't know who you really are because you don't sign your name. But, I do have some questions for ya.

1. Do you run any tournaments? If so let me know an I will come to it.
2. Do you go for the comfort or competition? If it is comfort stay home on the couch.
3. I agree that Salina is a very well run tournament. But why was Salina at the Classic not Hays?
4. Did Hays have any Tulsa National finalists going at it?

This one is for Beeson.

What is the main reason for a wrestling tournament?

I am not slamming the Hays tournament at all because Landon doesn't care if we wrestle in a barn or the Taj Mahal. He goes to WRESTLE and see his buddies!!!!!!!

I do wish that out of courtesy that Hays would move to a different weekend for these reasons.

1. The classic has been on this weekend for years.
2. We all could attend both tournaments.

Just my opinion.

PS
I was very happy not to see the parade of Champions or the break and most of the wrestlers i talked to were pleased also. So if you were upset with this decision you need to speak to your Head Coach that was at the coaches meeting.

I did not go, but my son when with a friend. We were able to follow the action at home on track wrestling - and it was updated quickly. My son liked it, he had no complaints. From his accounts, sounds like a well ran tournament. I just figure your opinion is about as good as your grammer and spelling.

I feel like I'm being set up. grin Competition! A chance for the wrestlers to see how they stack up. See what is working for them and to see what they need to work on. With that said...top four are the only ones that need to be rewarded. Everyone else needs to work harder and try again. wink
