Where is a good place to catch the KU game Friday night? I will be watching the game at my house in Lawrence after getting home from weigh ins. The food and refreshments are relatively cheap, the couch is very comfortable, and the latrine is pretty close to the couch. Then, I will head back to Topeka to watch some wrestling on Saturday. Then, back to Lawrence later that day. Then, back to watch more wrestling on Sunday morning. Then, hopefully, back to Lawrence to watch KU play that night. If you think wrestling families don't cover some ground, you don't have a wrestler in your family. For all or you that are traveling many, many, many miles more than we will this weekend, please drive safe. Good luck, and Godspeed.

I'll be watching the Senior Classic!! As should all wrestling fans who are in Topeka for any reason, or within a reasonable drive. A last chance to pay tribute to many of our wrestlers who have come up through the kids ranks, and a way to have the kids in the current kids ranks see some outstanding wrestling.

An absolute MUST for wrestling fans is to attend this event!! I really do like basketball and will be cheering on the Jayhawks but they (or any other event) will take second fiddle to an outstanding wrestling event!
One of the goals for our wrestlers is to compete in high school and ultimately, compete in the Senior Classic! I would rather my wrestler spend a couple of hours watching this premier event than back at the motel in the swimming pool!!
I can't imagine being a coach, being in town, and missing this event!
I predict ... there will be a few bouts in this Classic ... that will be talked about on these forums forever!!

You're my boy blue. Just read that they would have a hospitality room with buffet line at state. Only $6.50.
Well you're just a special kind of stupid aren't you?

Ren and Stimpy. That is way more awesome than the monkey.
Patrick,
I will be out about a million dollars in gas, hotel and food. A Topeka person complaining about $6.50 is completely unacceptable. You are a bad person.
Sincerely, Paul Blart

Sincerely, Paul Blart Ha! This bad person magically switched Dale back to a polar bear. Monkey doesn't take a back seat to a cartoon. Hey Paul, how did a mall cop save a million bucks!

Pretty handy to have around the house in case your pipe bursts.....and, with the cold weather that we have here in Kansas, that can happen.

They're dancing to Cavanaughs monkey. J. Dale, Let me start by saying, great avatar! A little advice though, tell Ren and Stimpy to be very alert while dancing around PC's monkey, because I heard that he likes to poke things with a stick.
