I am not sure how many people noticed, but I only counted about 22 scratches at the State Tournament. This was a weekend that brought 28 inches of snow to the town where I wrestled in high school. Other parts of the state had a lot of tough weather to deal with as well. Wrestling families are hard core, they are determined, and they want to compete. I don't believe that there are many other sports that compare.
