Loc: KC The time is here to begin planning for the 2009 Schoolboy Duals. This is a wonderful tournament for 1995 and 1996 birthdate wrestlers. The format is Greco and Freestyle, with 17 weights between 70 and 265 pounds, and up to 10 alternates. Team Kansas plans to take 25 kids, with all getting significant match experience opportunities. I will post additional information as time goes on, and I will attach to the post a flyer and application form. All wrestlers interested are inivted to apply- you need to be wrestling in your local room and all of the following upcoming tournaments:
May 2- Norton
May 9- Manhattan
May 16- Wichita State U.
May 30- STA (Overland Park)
June 6- Freestyle, GR State- Towanda/Circle
We will use the head to head competition as our primary criteria. I urge all who are interested in competing to apply, this is great experience and will improve your wrestler's overall skills and confidence.
