It's getting to be that time of year again. Every year I get contacted to officiate a number of events which I often have to turn down because of prior scheduling. In any case I wanted to make relevant people aware that Ft. Riley Middle School has a few dates that they are still looking for officials to help out.
The atmosphere is generally pretty laid back, so this would be a great opportunities for newer officials to get their feet wet in. The dates are as follows.
November 17th 2009 (Tuesday) 4:00 PM - Dual
December 3rd 2009 (Thursday) 4:00 PM - Dual
December 12th 2009 (Saturday) 9:00 AM - Tournament
The duals typically last 1 to 2 hours, the tournament from what I can remember is usually over by 3 p.m or so.
