At 112, Schumacher beat Prescott 13-8 in the semifinals at the Hays Tournament so that should eliminate the tie. Now Schumacher will meet Miller in the finals so that could throw a wrench in your rankings.

not by much, that match really was closer than the score showed. The match was acutally NOT as close as the 13-8 score would indicate. Schumacher was up 10-0 and 11-2 at different points in the match and was really close to pinning Prescott on 2 seperate occasions.
The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital.

Colten Picking of Abilene pinned Seibold of Salina South in the Beloit finals. I'd say Picking should probably be #2 in 4A behind Blair.

schumacher was winning that match 3-0 then got a questionable locked hands call in the 2nd making it 3-1 going into the 3rd period and in the 3rd period schumacher went down and miller got 3 near fall points winning 4-3. schumacher was very close to pinning him in the 2nd. Defienetly a real scare

ok guys, lets not make this another bs debate. I spoke with one one the tmp coaches. He locked his hands, the 5 count was there period. I commend schumacher on an Outstanding match he deserves to be #1 321A, and I have put my two cents in to the Chief letting him know that I believe Schumacher is a solid #2 all class. Lets not try drag this on they are both top notch wrestlers and I believe both will win state.

Mel Im going to go ahead and throw the BS card down on your comment about your conversation with one of the TMP coaches. That was never said and its too bad you feel the need make something up like that. Both of the coaches were standing right there as Schumacher and Miller went out of bounds when the phantom call was made. Neither of them will ever say that his hands were locked, because they weren't. If the tables were turned and Miller lost 4-3 on a terrible call like that in the front of your coaches, you would be blowing up this board.
The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital.

Beau Bennett pinned Damone Hatch from Independence in the 2nd period. Bennett also was down 10-5 to Kincaid from Bishop Miege in the final period and took him down and let him up 3 times. He ended up getting the decisive take down with around 10 seconds left to win 14-13. One of the most exciting heavyweight matches I have seen in a long time. You don't see too many 14-13 Heavyweight scores out there.

I dunno, the preceding match had a 10-8 score at the end of the first period.........just kidding Bennett-Kincaid was a terrific match and Beau worked his butt off in the third. A very well deserved win and loads of fun to watch.
