Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion College 1st Annual Kansas Cup--Newman University, 1/31/10

I have seen several promotional activities for Baker's 1st ever dual tonight against York College and how big this is for Kansas Wrestling. Not taking anything away from Baker, but I want to make sure everyone is aware of the 1st Annual KS Cup. This should and will be huge for Kansas Wrestling at the collegiate level. To my knowlege, this will be the first time that all schools in Kansas that offer wrestling will be battling for the title "Best of Kansas". The event will be held at Newman University on Jan. 31st 2010 (Sunday). Teams competing are- LCC, PCC, NCCC, CCC, Baker, FHSU, Newman.

Will KSU and WSU be attending? Otherwise, I can't see how the title they are competing for can be called "Best of Kansas". Might as well make it an open tournament and call it the Newman Open.
