Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Graduated wrestlers attending practice

Just curious - anyone out there have graduated wrestlers (college or not) attend their winter break practices?

every year. Usually they are really out of shape... its kinda funny

I've seen it before and it's usually hilarious. It's also a great tradition. BUT we had a parent complain to the administration at Christmas becaue he thought his son was getting beat up on so they've banned the graduates. The boys really could have used the experience and some fresh looks. One bad apple...

I went back into the room about a month ago on a Friday while I was home... needless to say after a 2-2-2 match with 2 minutes of overtime I was done... and wrestling a wrestler about 10lbs lighter and not quite on the same level technique wise...

I miss my old "wrestling" shape... It was nice getting back on the mat again though.
