Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle Valley Center Open Tournament (01/02/2010)

Hadn't seen anybody post on this tournament yet, so I wanted to say congrats to the Valley Center folks on a great one!

-Entries were appropriately limited.
-No issues with trying to conduct Novice during this Open Tourney.
-Wasn't too congested, wasn't too bad trying to find places to set up.
-Matches moved along smoothly.
-Awards were promptly processed.

About my only complaint would be that it was a little difficult to get a good spot to park. But that really wasn't an issue for us.

I wish they would of used the 2nd gym for the novice.
It was way too crowded!!!

Valley Center Novice was crowded but ran great and had good wrestling. The crowding was not as bad as some other tournament. The other gym would have been nice with more mat space for the bigger kids.

Overall a great job to Valley Center We'll be back next year maybe for both Open and Novice not just the Novice

I too had a great experiance in Valley Center,, bunch of good competition, started in a timely manner, my boy wrestled 4 times and i was on the highway by 12:30.. oh and the trophies were nice too. i know some people dont like them ,, but when your in the 6 and U division,, they love them

Would like them to fix the error made in our bracket on Trackwrestling. The error was acknowledged and proper medal given, but I want it fixed in the "paperwork" so overall record isn't affected for seeding @ subs. 12U 84 (A).
