Since many of us were not able to wrestle this past weekend due to the weather Free State is going to host a dual tournament on Thursday, February 4th. We have 4 teams committed so far, and are looking for 4 more teams.
The format would look like this:
With 8 teams we would split them into two different pools of 4. Teams will wrestle every team in their pool. The final round would be the placing round, where the winners of each pool wrestle for 1st; 2nd place in each pool wrestle for 3rd, and so on. We would wrestle on 4 mats, so no team would ever be off. A tentative schedule would look like this:
4:00 p.m. - Round 1 of pool matches
5:00 p.m. - Round 2 of pool matches
6:00 p.m. - Round 3 of pool matches
7:00 p.m. - Round 4 - placing matches
Once the teams are finalized we will make an effort to separate teams that have already/or will dual each other.
