Hello, Kansans. Texican here (originally from Missoura)--looking at your tourneys for the week of Feb 13--no tourneys in Tejas and Okie has their regionals that week. Looking at either Wichita area (Haysville Sat and Fredonia Sun) or K City area (Lenexa Sat and Effingham Sun). Boy will double dip at 12u, 14u at around 95 or 100. Can anyone comment on which tourneys will be the best to hit? Many thanks.

I know at the East Kansas Tourney in Lenexa, there are a lot of good kids at those weights. I can't really speak for the others but just know this area (District 1) and what I've seen.

I agree Lenexa would be a good one and then I'd have to say Hutchinson are probably the best as far as competition tourn goes for that weekend..jmo

Distric 2 in Kansas is always the toughest distric so i would say Haysville would be where the competition will be at that weekend.

I am inclined to do Haysville/Fredonia simply because it's closer; thought maybe some of the Missourians might come to Lenaxa

My only misgiving on that one is there is no 14u class. I like to double dip if I'm coming all that way. But, we can do that at Fredonia I guess.

I'm sorry we don't have a fourteen and under class for you. We did have TONS of great competition last year. We had kids from five states and we were done early. The only bad thing is that Hutch says in very bold letters... NO DOUBLE DIPPING OR WRESTLING UP
I hope you find what your looking for. Good Luck.

Hey SEK Jr. Comets are hosting a tourney in Chanute on the thirteenth with 14 and under. And it is only 30 miniutes from Fredonia on Sunday. Great Way to double dip. I am going to post some info on another thread about the tourney.
