Now I know I'm nowhere where near as qualified as Smoky but I'm comfortable saying that was some serious hospitality served up today. That sets a pretty high bar for the rest of the season.
Great work all around!

pittsburg's tournament went OK, a long delay, then ran smooth. not many wrestlers, competition was tough though. hospitality room-10
breakfast- B&G- excellent-9 (only because they ran out around 9:30) lunch- 7 layer dip, chicken/cheese pasta (unbelievable), bbq meatballs (tore them up), chili, lil smokies, hot dogs- 10 snacks- tons of cookies, chips, fruit, veggies- 10
even allowed wrestler's in, i know that some invited friends, but they still didn't run out of food.- POW! HOSPITALITY DIRECTORS LESSON 101: DON'T RUN OUT OF FOOD!!!!!!!!!well at least keep it out until say, 2pm.

Dido on Mill Valley tourny. Everything was great, the competition, food, staff, and plenty of space. Nice sized tourny. Thanks Joe for running track wrestling. I think we even started on time.

Man, Smokey has taken this to a totally new level! He had a sheet of paper, criteria, etc. In fact I think I actually watched him grow during the tournament because he was testing so much!
Thanks for all of your hard work and sacrifice on this. I know it's a tough job but somebody has to do it. What would we do without Smokey sacrificing and sucking up all those carbs and calories for us!
Clarification....yes the above is all in fun. Shawn and I are good friends. It was fun to watch him with his sheet of paper on Sat.
Jeff and Mill Valley.....
Thanks for a great tournament. Lots of 5 and 6 man RR's. Most of our kids got 3-5 matches. You kept the size of the tourney down and that made it manageable. Most importantly the kids got a lot of matches!
Everyone working the tournament was very nice and helpful. Thank you very much!
The only request I have (yes it is my pet rock) is if we could do remote weigh ins by club. Make us turn in the weights by Fri. night at 8:00 pm. Do not have Sat morning weigh ins on site. That way brackets can be done when we walk in on Sat morning.
I'll get off my soapbox about that.
Bottomline:
Great tournament, great people, great competition, great job!
