The Lincoln County Wrestling Club will be accepting entries into their tournament up til Wednesday evening. This is a good tournament for first and second year wrestlers. To get your kids signed up contact Lorrie Huehl at 785-524-3623 or email her at lhuehl@sbcglobal.net

If this Tournament was scheduled for the 20th, there would probably be alot more entries, as there is no tournament in the central kansas region at all! Or If the Chapman open would not try and compete with the Wichita Classic or The Western in Hays they could have alot better turn out!!Not telling ya what to do just suggesting!

Why not this weekend. On the 20th there is Marysville. That is where our club is going that weekend. Why not the 27th?

Too many dates to pick. They seemed to pick the date that fit them.

First of all.....you have me confused with this post.

Second of all.....Chapman tries to keep their tournament on the same date every year.

Third of all.....maybe not all wrestlers want to go wrestle in Wichita. Especially the first and second year wrestlers who are just wanting more experience and not ready for the huge and very competitive Wichita tournament.

I did not have intentions of confusing you, just suggesting for future scheduling purposes!Good wrestlers want to go where they can get more matches and better competition, First and Second year wrestlers need MORE MATCHES in order to GET BETTER! Seems there are 98 Weight classes between 6u,8u,10u,12u,and 14u. At very least you would like 3 matches at a tournament right? That would mean 4 in each bracket for a 4 man round robin. That means you would need 392 entries!I know this never works out right, but if you play the numbers most brackets would work out.Coaches and parents would feel that there little warriors got better that day instead of traveling for a one or two match day!
