Noticed a few others too. Is this a matter of deciding the kid has an easier bracket at the higher weight? I'm sure it's not because they didn't make weight....ha!
Didn't mean it that way - assumed the kids were fine on weight and moved into brackets that gave them a better chance at going to state. I'm a grandparent, never wrestled, and am just learning some of the stategies. No harm meant.
I believe both PL wrestlers were good at their weight but moved up because of an injury. I've watched them both wrestle since they were young and now their HS career will be coming to and end in the next couple weeks. I wish them luck and will be cheering them on!
