Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle season ending comments

I just wanted to end this season by saying a few things. I have met a ton of coaches and kids and parents this season. This season has been long and testing but worth every minute of it. I have learned lots of things from various people and hope i have shared some good things with others. I was just talking to some coaches this weekend about how I post things here as I see it from my view and it might help me stay out of hot water if I look it out of others eyes to. I do agree and will work on that in the future. I also had some say hey man you say it like it is and if people dont like it thats their problem. I am not here to be a butt kisser and suck up to all coaches or be buddies with everyone. I am here to coach kids wrestling and make them better and Kansas as a whole better. Yeah its nice to have all the coaches like you and all but thats not why im coaching. I have said some good things and put my foot in my mouth a few times. I am not afraid to make a public apology if I feel like I was wrong. I have had some words with a few people on this forum, I have also had some compliments from others and a few tears about other topics. I just want those to know that I leave this season behind and that includes all the topics. I will start the next season just like I did this season and that does not include any grudges toward anyone. Yes even you sporto. You are your own person and thats important to be your own person. Not always on the same page as you but I think we are here for the same reason and thats for kids wrestling. Just want to thank all you kids for trying your hardest this season. Lots of thanks needs to go out to the coaches that spend all those hours watching videos and gym hours. Thanks to all the parents for sitting on those hard bleachers. Thanks to all the volunteers at all those events. Im sure I missed someone but those people know that we all appreciate everything. Good luck to all going to Brute as my season is over. Hope to see some of you kids and coaches this summer on the ball diamond.

oh yeah forgot this part. you might hate me but you still have to love me as I am your brother lol. Just had to throw that in there. So if you really dont like me thats ok I will not hold that against you. That doesnt make me not like you back.

congrats to brady!! great season for all. to all the wrestling family good luck this spring and summer, whatever you do. i'll be at the lake fishing, and taking in some baseball. sek boys see you this summer in the room, see you all in the in nov.
